Ditch the Syndromes with Kristen & Nat from Powrsuit
Join Gender at Work & Powrsuit for an energising pre-IWD breakfast event:
Ditch the Syndromes - You don’t need fixing. The workplace does.
We’re thrilled to host the brilliant duo Kristen Lunman and Natalie Ferguson, founders of Powrsuit and Hatch, for a sharp look at the most ridiculous “syndromes” invented to keep women in their place – from Bicycle Face in 1895 to Imposter Syndrome today.
Together, we’ll explore:
Why new labels appear every time women make progress
Why imposter syndrome is a systems issue, not a confidence problem
Why closing the gender gap matters now
What leaders and workplaces can do differently
Expect real-world stories from Kristen and Nat and an open Q&A.
This conversation is for everyone, especially men. Gender inequality isn’t just a women’s issue. It affects everyone through shaping economic outcomes, workplace cultures, family wellbeing, and the future of our tamariki and mokopuna. When systems work better for women, they work better for all of us.
